Location: 33° 00.8' N, 115° 50.3' W 32 km (20 miles) SSE of Salton City roughly 145 km (90 miles) east of San Diego
Magnitude: MW6.6

Depth: 11.2 km
Faults Ruptured: Superstition Hills, Wienert; Slip was triggered on the Imperial, San Andreas, and Coyote Creek faults
Maximum Surface Offset: 50 cm after the first 24 hours; additional slip continued for months, to a maximum of roughly 1 meter total offset
