Website Upgrade
On September 9, 2011, the SCEDC completed the upgrade of its website. The new website takes advantage of advances in web design to improve organization and usability.
Other enhancements to the site include:
- A "News" section on the home page to allow users to easily discover new content. Latest information on Southern CA seismicity is also provided.
- A search window on each page.
- Two popular pages, the Clickable Station Map and the Significant Earthquakes and Faults Map, were redone with Google Maps to allow users to use interactive features.
