The SCEC_DC archive of GPS data aims to contain data from "survey-mode" precise GPS measurements made in Southern California by various universities, Federal organizations (notably the US Geological Survey and the National Geodetic Survey), the California Department of Transportation, and several southern California Counties.
Data from continuous GPS stations are archived for SCEC at the Scripps data center; for the Los Angeles basin network some information is also available from the USGS and from JPL.
Click here for a brief guide to the archive and currently available indices.
A set of maps of GPS stations has been produced to help with planning of future observations, by showing where past ones have been made.
Some additional information about the data in this archive are available from the UCLA GPS group.
A SCEC Workshop "Geological and Design Issues of Continuous GPS Networks" has been held to discuss the design and planning for a large-scale continuous GPS network.
