LENGTH: 70 km
NEAREST COMMUNITIES: Frazier Park
MOST RECENT RUPTURE: Late Quaternary east of intersection with Pine Mountain fault; Pre-Quaternary west of same intersection
SLIP RATE: 1 to 4 mm/yr (?)
PROBABLE MAGNITUDES: uncertain
OTHER NOTES: Rupture reported in 1852 is thought unlikely (probably landslides). Rupture in Holocene time is possible, but unknown. Slip rate may currently be much less than the 1 to 4 mm/yr average Quaternary rate. The dip is steep and to the south.
